 Jesus Laid Down His Life For His Sheep St. John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." Jesus likened his leadership role as a shepherd and his followers as sheep. Shepherds carry their sheep to the pasture where the sheep can get green grass to feed on.
