GOD OWNS EVERYTHING

Image
He Owns It Psalms 24:1-2 "The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods." Just look at everything around you. It was all started by God according to scripture (Genesis 1). The trees, land, birds, sky, cloud, stars, moon and all. God gave man wisdom to produce the artificial things we see like the cars, clothes and the vast amount of artificial things produced by man from natural resources. Whoever started this, is great. While there are many theories suggesting other origins of creation, it is the highest form of wisdom to accept the biblical account. If God started it all, that means He owns it and can do with it as He so will. Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." This is the song sang in heaven. All the heavenly hosts k...

OPTIMIZATION IN GOD'S KINGDOM

Image
Optimization For And With The King St. Matthew 14:19-21 "And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." Optimization is the concept of setting a system to minimize waste and increase chances of success. When a family is always throwing away food in the waste bin and not looking for ways to use the excess either for itself or for others, optimization is not put to work. When an organization is not looking for better ways to save time and not finding cheaper ways of getting things done, it is not optimizing. God loves for His people to optimize. No one is richer than God yet it is His pattern to optimize His operati...

HIS KINGDOM

Image
His Kingdom Psalms 45:6 "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre." God will be powerless without subjects loyal and faithful to His leadership. God is the King of glory. Utmost display of glory can be fully seen in God. He is the King of Kings. This suggests that all Kings, whether of physical nations of territory of people or of spiritual Kings of spirits (angels, demons and of human spirits dead or alive). All Kings are subject to Him. He can install or remove a King at will. If all Kings are subject to Him, then all faithfuls to the Kings are subject to Him as well if they will abide to His rules. He does not impose His will on any man but has given every man a free will to choose. At the end of the day, the subjects will be judge according to His will whether they are faithful to Him or not. As a King, God has a throne. His throne is established in righteousness and justice. All subjects of His authority must submit to His ...

ALL KNOWING GOD

Image
The All Knowing God 1 Corinthians 4:5 "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." A judge looks at all sides in a case before giving the verdict. If the information presented is not truth or insufficient to come to a conclusion, there will be a miscarriage of Justice. An impartial judge is wise in matters pertaining to the case at hand. Judges can be wrong if the information presented is twisted or insufficient to come to a conclusion. God is an impartial judge, He knows all things. He knows everything about each one of us. Nothing is hidden before His eyes. He knows our thoughts, He knows us by name. He knows about our pains. He knows our strengths and weaknesses. What ever you are going through at the moment, He knows every detail of it. He knows the way out of every situation.  Not only does God kn...

HOLY GOD

Image
God Is Holy Leviticus 11:44 "For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." The God we serve is a God of peace. He can do anything He so wish suddenly. He fight battles and wars and was never known to have lost any battle. He is also a jealous God and does not share His glory with any one. As a miracle working God, He can do miracles that defy natural laws of nature and science to demonstrate His glory. All His abilities are triggered in the spirit realm. We must be in the same realm with Him to enjoy His favour and love. His realm is in spirit and truth. If we must worship Him, we must do so in spirit and in truth. All that God will do is holy. Sin and corrupt living keeps Him far away. If He stays away, it will be impossible to enjoy His peace and blessings.  "For I am the LORD your God: ... sanctify yourselves,...

GOD IS A SPIRIT

Image
God Is A Spirit St. John 4:23,24 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." If any man must pray and pray aright, this man in question must know that God is Spirit. Spirit beings have no physical form or body only if they possess a material medium to find physical expression in this physical world. God had no beginning nor does He have an end. He started the beginning. He created this physical world and everything in it, this He did with a purpose in mind. You and I are His creation. He had a purpose in mind for creating us. Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." We are created for His pleasure. His ways are not our ways. What gives us pleasure is no...

MIRACLE WORKING GOD

Image
Miracle Working God Exodus 7:9-10 "When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent." It is natural for God to do miracles. It takes faith on our part to receive miracles from Him. Miracles are supernatural occurrences that defy natural laws and principles. When God created this world, it was a miracle. No physical material input was put into play to create this world, God spoke the world into existence. By His word, the world was created. Throughout the Bible, we see the miracle working power of God at work. He demonstrated His miracle working power to men and women who had faith in Him. He demonstrated the miracle working power to men and women as a token of His love. Sometime...

THE JEALOUS GOD

Image
The Jealous God Exodus 34:14 "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:..." Jealousy generally refers to the thoughts or feelings of being insecure, fearful, and concern over loosing possession of something or somebody. Jealousy comes with one or more other emotions such as anger, resentment, inferiority complex, helplessness or disgust. Jealousy is a fear of losing something or somebody you already have, like a relation or a friend. Jealousy in God is that strong energy by which He is provoked and stirred and moved to take action against whatever or whoever stands in His way of his enjoyment of His desires and will. The strength of His anger of jealousy is directly in relation to the depths of his love. When God is jealousy, it is completely different from when a man (or woman) is jealous. Man is limited in knowledge, God is omniscient i.e. all knowing. In most cases, when a man is jealous, it is based on assumptions but in ...

God Fights Battles And Wars

Image
God Fights Battles And Wars Exodus 15:2-4 "The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea." Moses sang the song after a resounding victory. In the song, Moses declared that "...The LORD is a man of war...". First of all note that God is not man. For Moses to call God "... man of war...", he was not inferring that God is (or was) a man. It was meant to characterize what is common to men (this metaphor is common in some songs). We all fight wars of all sorts daily. We fight wars at home and on the job (and at school). We fight spiritual wars, emotional wars and mental wars. The wars we fight can sometimes appear insurmountable. No matter how big the wars may appear, they are small before...

God Can Do Anything Suddenly

Image
He Can Do Anything Suddenly Isaiah 48:3 "I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass." It is better to know who God is and what He can do. This will help to enjoy His favour. Any misconception about God can spell problems. If God's nature and attributes are not properly understood, there is the danger of running downhill. God is love. He is peace. He can do what He says He can do. Nothing is impossible with Him. He is Almighty.  God can take the time to do anything He choose to do for us. It may appear slow but it is always for our good. This will take patience on our part. God makes promises and these promises may only come to pass when the time is right. The right time will depend on whether we fulfill our part or not. He has no problem fulfilling His part.  Though God may sometimes appear slow but sometimes He can come in suddenly. This sudden move of God may ...

The God Of Peace

Image
The God of Peace 1 Thessalonians 5:23 "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." When a people claim to worship God but do not know the God they claim to worship, they do themselves wrong and will not enjoy the good that is meant for them. On the other hand, when a people claim that there is no God when even nature itself is pointing to the fact the whole world is created by someone who deserves worship, there is an error in this. Even much more error is there if everything is pointing to the fact that there is God who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent but a man or a people choose to serve something else or create another God of their imagination. These errors need to be corrected. Whatever may be the case, there is a God who deserves our worship but the worship is worthless if we do not know Him and the same worship should be done in His terms. ...
