Living The Blessed Life: Mary Noticed And Favoured Amongst Others

Image
Mary, Favoured Amongst Women  Luke 1:28 "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." Picking a person in the crowd for special purpose is not something we can easily throw away. People are selected for various reasons. You never know when you will be selected and for what purpose. It is up to you however to be ready when you are selected. First, get it that you are noticed in many different ways from many sources. What matters is that you are at the right place at the right time doing the right things for the right purpose. What is considered right depends on your relationship with God and man, the rules and laws that governs your life and the purpose of your existence. God has a special eye on you. All power belongs to Him and He can cause anything to happen in your favour. Does God have favourite? It all depends on from what perspective you are looking at things. You and every other p...

The End of The Saint Of God

Image
The End Of The Saint Of God Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." We reap what we sow. We harvest what we plant. This is true in all areas of life. When we sow good and righteousness, we harvest blessings and favour of the Lord. When we sow evil and wickedness, we reap curse and damnation. This law (of sowing and reaping) works no matter who is involved. If all a man does is to sow what he does not have a plan to reap, he is putting himself on harm's way. For the righteous, the harvest will come when the final transition comes i.e. when he transits from time to eternity, when he dies or when this world folds up. In the thereafter, the reward for weldoing will be handed down to him. For this, the Lord God is pleased. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." When the saint of God dies, God is pleased. He is pleased because, finally, the saint will no longer face the corruption of the world and the assa...

The End of A Sinner

Image
The End of The Sinner St. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." When God created the world, it was love that was the motivation behind it. He intended for man to be the object of His love. This can only become true if man stay within the boundary God created. What kept man out of that boundary is sin. When Adam committed the sin of disobedience, this first act of sin opened the door for satan to reign over man and creation. Sin gave satan some legitimacy and right of way to suppress. The price has to be paid for a recovery back to the original plan of God to be achieved. Sin must be punished and the price to be paid for sin was paid in Christ Jesus.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, ..." God has not changed. He loved the world back then and yet love the world today. He hated sin back then and yet hate sin today. The pri...

Success For The Saint

Image
Success For The Saint Psalms 118:24-25 "The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad. LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success!' The above prayer is typical of the average saint: "LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success!' The saint of God is conscious of his or moves to be approved by heaven. Success to the saint of God is part of the whole package to fulfill God's purpose and will. Infact, the will of God is the target for success. Since success is preconceived, the saint of God is said to be successful if the will of God is known before hand and when it is fully achieved, the saint is said to be successful. One of the predetermined will of God is for the saint to be like Jesus. This is success! 1 John 4:17 "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." Once we become like Jesus in life and walk with God, we are successful. The saint may get all the rich...

Success For The Sinner

Success For The Sinner Job 6:13 "Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me?" Generally, success can be understood as the achievement of a desired goal, the fulfillment of an objective, or the realization of one's ambitions. It is often associated with a sense of accomplishment, progress, or favorable outcomes in various aspects of life. However, success is not solely determined by external markers such as wealth, status, or recognition. It can also encompass internal factors such as personal growth, happiness, fulfillment, and the alignment of one's actions and values. Success is a multifaceted concept that can encompass different dimensions of life, including career, education, relationships, health, personal development, and contribution to society. Note that success is a journey and not a destination. It involves setting meaningful goals, working towards them and making adjustments until the end result is achieved. Questions we ...

Ministry To The Saints

Image
Ministry To The Saint 2 Corinthians 9:1 'For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:.." Paul the apostle emphasized severally the need for the saints of God to minister one to another. He saw it needful to repeat the emphasis on ministering to the saints. Having in mind that the saints are they that have been ministered to and converted from sinners or sinful way of living to sainthood to serve the Lord. They are not abandoned and left to be on their own. It is through ministering to the saints that progress and growth is achieved. Spiritually stunted growth is traceable to unhealthy ministry to the saints. A saint may work hard to get sinners converted while he or she is depleted of grace. When the saint have nothing to offer, he or she starts sinking (spiritually, emotionally and psychologically speaking). The benefit of ministering to the saints is great and must not be underestimated. While different groups of the body of saint...

Ministry To The Sinner

Image
Ministry To The Sinner Psalms 25:8 "Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way." The sinner is one who breaks the law(s) of God simply because of disobedience or lack of knowledge of the liberating power of God and the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross. A sinner is powerless to set himself or herself free from the power and clutches of sin thus the need of a mediator to reconcile the sinner back to God. This ministry of reconciliation to God was made possible by Christ on the cross of Calvary. We are brought into this ministry when we accept Jesus to be Lord of our lives. The sinner's chances of becoming a saint is enhanced when we accept to partner with God through Christ to reach out to the sinner. "...therefore will he teach sinners in the way." The sinner needed to be brought into the kingdom of God by an insider in the faith or by hearing the word of God. Faith for salvation from sin to Christ is activated by the word...
