ALL KNOWING GOD

The All Knowing God

1 Corinthians 4:5 "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God."

A judge looks at all sides in a case before giving the verdict. If the information presented is not truth or insufficient to come to a conclusion, there will be a miscarriage of Justice. An impartial judge is wise in matters pertaining to the case at hand. Judges can be wrong if the information presented is twisted or insufficient to come to a conclusion.

God is an impartial judge, He knows all things. He knows everything about each one of us. Nothing is hidden before His eyes. He knows our thoughts, He knows us by name. He knows about our pains. He knows our strengths and weaknesses. What ever you are going through at the moment, He knows every detail of it. He knows the way out of every situation.

Not only does God knows about us individually, He knows about all knowledge that can be learnt. He knows maths, sciences, arts, and every knowledge that has not yet been discovered. He knows history past and whatever that will be a breaking news in the future. There is no secret that is a secret before Him. This attribute of God i.e. ability to know all things is termed, omniscience, as a result of this, we call Him Omniscience God.

Not only that God is omniscience, He can choose to reveal a portion of what He knows to whomsoever He so chooses. This was the case with Daniel. The King during Daniel's time wanted someone to reveal the dream he had and it's meaning. No one could do such a thing except such a man has all knowledge or such a man can retrieve the knowledge from a reliable source. Daniel who knew the omniscience God was able. Look at the confidence of Daniel.

Daniel 2:28 "But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;.."

Daniel met the all knowing God who revealed the dream and it's meaning. What made God to reveal the dream to Daniel? Daniel himself gave us the answer.

Daniel 2:30 "But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart."

Divine revelation is given to those God chooses to reveal to. At the end of it all, God will receive the glory.

Daniel 2:47 "The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret."

Since nothing is hidden from Him, He can reveal or withhold any information. God reveals truth to those He can trust. He reveals it to those who will make the right decision about what is revealed.

People who can make the right decisions and take Divine revelation seriously will be given more revelation so that they can make good judgement about the issues of life.

"Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God."

When the Lord comes and make open any truth at the appropriate time, things go right. Arguments are settled when He steps in. The dark cloud covering anybody or anything, will disappear. Light will shine forth and expose what is hidden and show the way forward.

God is still revealing His truth to men. This same God who knows all things is through Christ Jesus revealing His depth of knowledge to us in our time. What He knows cannot be completely echaustedly fathom by any man or group of men.

St. Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."

Jesus had tasted the vastness of the knowledge of God (while in the flesh) and knows who can enjoy Divine revelation. While the world expects the wise and famous men (by the world's standard), to get Divine revelation, Jesus is here saying that it is available to 'BABES' in God's eyes. Those who will become like little children in the eyes of God, will enjoy depth of knowledge from Him. Little children will do as they are told. They will trust simply. They do not make matters difficult. Babes before God will enjoy His revelation.

At this point, we need to ask God to help us to be as babes before Him. We need to come to God in Christ Jesus. Jesus said:

St. Matthew 11:27 "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him."

Let us get back to the father of all knowledge through Christ. In Christ Jesus, we know things as God will have us know. Light shines in our path. We can judge things rightly because the truth has been revealed to us.

Pray:

Father, You know all things and nothing is impossible with You. Today, I ask that You reveal to me what is necessary to handle life with ease from Your vast reserviour of knowledge. I shall succeed and overcome over everything that partains to my life and the assignments and challenges I will face. Thank You for answering my prayers in Jesus name. Amen!
