Carrying The King's Presence

Genesis 39:2 "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian..."

Prosperity and success does not come by accident. Men and women who acted according to specific rules and principles will meet success along their way. The domain any man operates will determine what rules governs his or her actions. Consistency in taking the right actions will trigger either success or failure. Success will come if the actions are triggered by responsible and tested principles. Failure will come when carelessness is put into play.

One principle that will guarantee success in God's kingdom is the practice of 'GOD'S PRESENCE'. It has been proven time without number that consciously practicing God's presence brings success. True peace and happiness comes by knowing that God is able to do all things and by knowing how to walk with Him and for Him, a presence of God's glory will follow and as a result, success is brought to play.

Many were listed in the Bible who practiced God's presence and as a result, there was no other option than for them to succeed in what ever endeavour 'The Presence' led them to. One successful man who carried God's presence was Joseph. So much was said about him and how he achieved success. The summary of his story was that:

 "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; ..."

The Lord was with him in tough and good times. That was the secret of his success. God was with him. He moved in God's presence. His actions and thoughts were ordered by God. What ever will not trigger the inner peace, he stayed away from it.

This secret of practicing God's presence is neglected in our day to a large extend. If you will wake up to this practice, you are next in line to be blessed.

 "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian..."

In a foreign land where he was a second class citizen, he was the second in command after the King i.e. King Pharoah. All the other citizens (first class citizens) took instructions from him. God's presence made it possible.

What God's presence does for a man or a woman is that it keeps the man or woman in the state of mind where only the right actions are taken. Thoughts of failure are kept far away. The thoughts a man or woman carries will determine what kind of atmosphere goes with him or her. Demons keeps away from the person with the right atmosphere.

Exodus 13:21 "And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:..."

The Israelites were previledged to carry God's presence but they never knew it's significance. The presence led them without a consistent effort on their part. They enjoyed so much by God's presence but all they saw was what was going wrong. They murmured and complained not knowing that they were in essence driving away God's presence.

 "And the LORD went before them ...to give them light; to go by day and night:..."

They were not stranded so long as they followed the leadership and instructions of God. They received direction all the time 

"...by day and night:..."

Lack of understanding will jeopardize the success of many. Get understanding of how to practice God's presence and you will enjoy true success and peace. Your definition of success will change once you walk in partnership with God.

Jesus practiced God's presence throughout his life time. His regular prayer life and what he said about God pulled so much of God's presence which in turn overflowed to the people in the form of miracles. His disciples saw it and asked that he teach them how to pray. He taught them.

After his ressurection, just before his Ascension to heaven, he told them what to do to enjoy his presence

St. Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Obedience to his command is Paramount to the practice of God's presence. They were to: 

"Go ...teach all nations, baptizing them ...Teaching them to observe all things ... I have commanded you: ..."

At the back of his mind, he spoke with the confidence that:

"All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth..."

He had all power. He did not have some of the power. He had all the power. For this power to fully manifest in the disciples, they had to follow instructions.

Once instruction is obeyed, the presence of God will manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit. Will you follow Jesus by obeying his command? Will you like to have success that comes from heaven? Follow Jesus' command. Then his presence that triggers success will be with you.

"...I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Hebrews 13:5-6 "Don't be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, "I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," we can boldly quote,

God is there, ready to help;

I'm fearless no matter what.

Who or what can get to me?" (Message version of the Bible)

What help will you need? Practice God's presence and the help will reach you. His presence is the help you longed for. You need success? practice His presence. You need direction, practice His presence. You need healing? Practice God's presence. You need deliverance? Practice His presence. You want to have victory over sin? Practice God's presence. You want to go to heaven at the end of your life? Practice His presence. This is the panacea to the problems of the fallen man. To practice God's presence is to enjoy heaven on Earth. Receive the help you need in Jesus name. Amen!

Pray:

My Father in heaven. I want You to not only be in heaven but also in my heart through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Teach me to practice Your presence and my life will please You daily. I will succeed by your presence. I will be delivered by the practice of your presence. I will not go astray as long as Your presence go with me. I thank you because your presence will go with me and it shall be well with me. Amen!
