GOD OWNS EVERYTHING

 He Owns It

Psalms 24:1-2 "The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods."

Just look at everything around you. It was all started by God according to scripture (Genesis 1). The trees, land, birds, sky, cloud, stars, moon and all. God gave man wisdom to produce the artificial things we see like the cars, clothes and the vast amount of artificial things produced by man from natural resources. Whoever started this, is great. While there are many theories suggesting other origins of creation, it is the highest form of wisdom to accept the biblical account. If God started it all, that means He owns it and can do with it as He so will.

Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

This is the song sang in heaven. All the heavenly hosts know this for sure that God created all things.

Psalms 50:10 "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills."

As owner of everything created, He can entrust you with a portion of what He created to do as it pleases Him and glorify His name. There will be a season of accountability. 

What do you do with this knowledge?

Psalms 50:14-15 "Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."

The whole duty of man is to serve God and please Him in everything. But there is an adversary, the enemy of God and man. All he wants you to get is nothing. He wants you to be distracted from God and steal you from the previledged position God has given you. He decieved Adam and Eve into error and he is still busy looking for whom to devour. He tempted Jesus to take him away from the blessing but he could not succeed.

St. Matthew 4:8-9 "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."

Who owns everything? God does. Then why was the devil telling Jesus that he will give Jesus what he does not own? Adam lost his position and now the devil is using it to try Jesus. One thing the devil does not know is that Jesus cannot be fooled. No one can snatch anything from God. It was in Jesus that we have access to the fullness of our inheritance in God. We take our rightful place in God by Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:.."

The owner of everything is handling it back to us by Christ Jesus. We can not be fooled any more. We partner with the King of all creation and take our possession and roll away the darkness. We drop all false hopes from the devil and move along with Christ Jesus. We bow in adoration to God as we give Him thanks.

Let us pray:

Father of all creation, thank You for making me a partner with You in Christ Jesus. With You by my side, all glory will go back to you.

I drop all works of darkness and I embrace light and the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross. Amen!
