License To Be Used

2 Timothy 2:19-21 "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

License is an indication of right to use or to be used. Do you have the license to be a citizen of God's Kingdom? Does God have the license to use you for His purpose? In both cases, there is need of license, either from God or from man.

"... the foundation of God standeth sure, ... The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

The basis for licensing for man is to depart from iniquity i.e repent and forsake sin. Once you get the license, you are a bonafide member of God's Kingdom which gives one authority to enjoy the cover of the King i.e God. You can then lay claim to all the privileges and promises of the kingdom. The basis for licensing for God is that satan the devil has stolen the right of claim to man when Adam fell into sin. By spiritual rule, though God owns everything, He cannot impose His authority on any man. You have to belong to Him so that He will have the right to use you for His purpose.

"...The Lord knoweth them that are his..."

Belonging to Him is the key. His hand is reached out to you. It is up to you to decide if you will belong to Him or not. There is safety in Him. There is provision in Him. There is guidance and direction in Him. You have to be known by Him. He will have to identify with you one on one. The blood of Jesus has paid for it all.

The rating for what manner of use God will have you used is dependent on the level of consecration you have decided to go through. Earthen consecration brings leads to a low and ignoble use. Wooden consecration leads to a higher use than earthen consecration. Silver consecration leads to quality use. The highest consecration i.e golden consecration leads to the highest licensing for use in God's Kingdom. Go for gold and have the maximum licensing approval for God's use.

Which ever level of licensing you may have, you have access to the benefits of God's Kingdom and the liberty of God's Spirit. So what do you do about it now? Consecrate yourself.

"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

Purge yourself from sin and the works of the devil, get sanctified by setting yourself apart for God's use. Learn and apply the rules of God's kingdom and take your place to the glory of His name.

Pray:

Father, I take the step of repentance. I ask that you consecrate me for your use. I give You the license to use me by taking the lead over my life in Jesus name. Amen!
