WELL ADJUSTED IN GOD'S KINGDOM

Well Adjusted In God's Kingdom

Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

For you to have any measurable success and peace of mind you need to know how to conduct affiars and consciously practice what works in your own peculiar situation. In God's kingdom, affairs are conducted by the word of God. The will of God concerning anything and everything (including everyone) is known by His word. Once the will of God is known, that will in question is accomplished by the grace that is available and comes by Him.

The word of God has potential power to change any man from failure to success, from sinner to saint, from slavery to freedom, from bondage to salvation. To be well adjusted and properly positioned to make a mark for all time and eternity in God's kingdom, the word of God is that tool for proper adjustment and positioning to match forward in life. If you are not properly positioned and conditioned as a member of God's kingdom, everything will look like a mirage. You will be at the mercy of the detractor of God's kingdom i.e. the devil. He will not stop until he brings you down. I have good news for you, Jesus dealt with the devil once and for all. All you have to do is to place yourself where heaven's resources will reach you.

"...present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, ... prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

I have good news for you, God has a package with your name attached to it. If you will "...present your bodies a living sacrifice,..." and "...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, ...", you are going to see a blessing from the Lord God Almighty.

In essence, what are we saying about being well adjusted for success? We are saying in essence that you do not allow your body to deceive you. Get the word of God to be properly soaked in your mind until your body has no choice but to cooperate. Sin will not have dominion or control over you. Sin is the only ground for the devil to pull you down. The word of God in you will do majorly two things. The word of God will keep you well informed about all that God has for you and at the same time, destroy the possibility of sin.

How does the word of God give you the upper hand?

"...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, ..."

The transformation comes when the word of God is given the rightful place in your thinking. Reading, study and meditation of the word of God is what is needed in this case. You want to know how powerless the devil is, read, study and meditate on the word of God concerning the devil and what Jesus did to him and how Christ Jesus gave you the opportunity to occupy in terms of our authority over darkness. You want to know how that your needs can be met? Read, study and meditate on God's word on how He is all sufficient and His ability to do the impossible. When you know your rights and previledges, it is much easier for your prayers to be answered.

Take the time out to do some extra work on yourself. Do some spiritual Excercise in the word of God. Adjust your mindset, drop the old way of life and pick up the new way. Be rest assured, nothing is impossible with God. What appears impossible, will start working for you. There is no guarantee that the devil will not try you. One thing is sure is that you will handle him cheaply because the greater one is with and in you.

You will make progress and achieve success by the help of God. Do not hold back from making the necessary adjustment demanded of you.

St. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

That is the assurance we have in Christ Jesus. His word is to give us peace. You have the word, you have peace.

"...that in me ye might have peace..."

There is a peace that comes in Christ Jesus. This peace is from within, inner peace that conditions a man to be well poised to handle life with ease. Jesus had It. He gave it to us. I have it, and so can you if you will have faith in Him and His word. As from today, you will be well adjusted for life by the help available in Christ Jesus.

Father God, I want to see more of You in my life. Condition me to understand your way. I will do my part to be well adjusted. Help me to walk in your peace. I am blessed. In Jesus name. Amen!
