Ecclesiastes 1:9-10: "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us."

Happy new year. In this year, it shall be well with you. Some things will come by surprise. Some will come as if it has never happened in that manner before. Take note, learn to calm down and in the sanctuary of your heart, learn to hear God speak. By this i.e. constantly communing with God, you will be amazed by the success you will achieve in the year. You will be taken by surprise. You will have a need. You will need rest. You will need explanation. You will need provision. You will need protection. God will be your source through the year.

One thing that will add to and multiply your success in this year is checking in with the word of God about similar circumstances that you are going through. Why is that so? This is because there nothing new under the earth. Even if it appears new, if you break it into smaller pieces, you will see that the smaller pieces have a replica in the old. The Bible is a collection of what had been. From the Bible, you see what made some to succeed and what made some to fail. Through this year, trace your condition to what had been in the Bible.

 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.." Ecclesiastes 1:9

Ask God in prayer to help you to mirror your life to what had been in the Bible. You are made a leader and the Lord ask you to make a wish, ask for wisdom just as Solomon did. Your marriage is capsizing and you remember what the disciples of Jesus did when their boats was capsizing. Cry to Jesus and hear him say: "Peace be still". You have a little provision and need to attend to many people, remember that Jesus multiplied bread and fish and thousands were fed. Something is not working and it appears dead in your life and you remember that Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. Speak to the dead situation to come to life.

The devil may suggest to you that your case is different and that no one has ever gone through it. Silence the devil and tell him what is written concerning you then go ahead and put him by the corner where he belongs. If you can trace your case to the word of God, then you are a winner in the year.

"Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? ..."

Some things may appear new but by the help of the Holy Spirit, you can decode the same from the word of God. Once you can decode it, you will overcome. From the Bible, you get principles, ideas, promises, instructions, examples, commands etc.

I guarantee you that this year will be super. God is good.
