Ministry To The Sinner

Image
Ministry To The Sinner Psalms 25:8 "Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way." The sinner is one who breaks the law(s) of God simply because of disobedience or lack of knowledge of the liberating power of God and the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross. A sinner is powerless to set himself or herself free from the power and clutches of sin thus the need of a mediator to reconcile the sinner back to God. This ministry of reconciliation to God was made possible by Christ on the cross of Calvary. We are brought into this ministry when we accept Jesus to be Lord of our lives. The sinner's chances of becoming a saint is enhanced when we accept to partner with God through Christ to reach out to the sinner. "...therefore will he teach sinners in the way." The sinner needed to be brought into the kingdom of God by an insider in the faith or by hearing the word of God. Faith for salvation from sin to Christ is activated by the word

Sinner And Saint

Image
Sinner And Saint Ephesians 2:18-20 "For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;..." Who is a sinner? In many religious traditions, a sinner is generally defined as someone who has violated moral or religious laws. The specific acts or behaviors considered sinful in Christianity, for example, sin is often associated with actions that go against the commandments of God as spelt out in the Bible, such as lying, stealing, or committing adultery.  Who is a saint?   In Christianity, a saint is generally seen as someone who has lived a life of exemplary faith and virtue and is believed to be in heaven if dead. Saints are generally considered to be role models and intercessors, capable of interceding with God on behalf of indivi

BECAUSE THE LORD SO

Image
Because The Lord Said So St. Matthew 1:18-20 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." In life, there can be difficult decisions to make especially about relationships and money. The reason(s) to make any particular choice can be based on many criterias. People make decisions because majority of the people are making the same decision and in a bit not to be left behind, they make the same decision. Decisions can be made because a famous person made the same decision. Not minding what the final outc

Every Man A Measure

Image
Every Man A Measure St. Matthew 25:15 "And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey." Jesus taught many of his teachings in parables. By this, he gave his teachings some degree of depths and at the same time, only the serious minded gave attention to the lessons in the teachings. One such teachings was the parable of the talent. Parables are stories with deeper meaning. They make lessons taught to be easily understood. This parable in question is one among others about the kingdom of God. God gave gifts or talent or responsibilities to men, what becomes of the talent is up to them. No one is left out in the share of the talent. "...to every man according to his several ability..." One is given more than the other. There is no one left out. Whether big or small, every man (man or woman) was (and is) given according to his ability i.e. capacity. We will not be m

IMPORTANCE OF REVELATION

Image
Why The Revelation St. Matthew 1:22, 23: "Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." If the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. There is a lifestyle that is 'AS USUAL' and there is another lifestyle that is 'SUPERNATURAL'. The 'AS USUAL' life will do things to please or conform to the natural principle and laws while the lifestyle conform to the 'SUPERNATURAL' will do things to conform to the supernatural, spiritual laws and principles. You can never get supernatural results doing business as usual. God will bring you into the supernatural by revelation and unfolding of His plans. This is what happened before the birth of Jesus Christ. This is where parents should watch and take heed to what God is saying before the

GIFTS FOR JESUS

Image
Gifts For Jesus St. Matthew 2:1,10-11 "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,.. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh." What is a gift? A gift is something that is given to someone without the expectation of receiving anything in return.  Gifts can be a wonderful way to show someone that you care about them and appreciate them. There are many different types of gifts that you can give, and the best gift will depend on the recipient's interests and preferences. In general, gifts can be a meaningful and enjoyable way to express one's feelings and strengthen relationships with others. They can bring joy and happiness to both

WELL ADJUSTED IN GOD'S KINGDOM

Image
Well Adjusted In God's Kingdom Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." For you to have any measurable success and peace of mind you need to know how to conduct affiars and consciously practice what works in your own peculiar situation. In God's kingdom, affairs are conducted by the word of God. The will of God concerning anything and everything (including everyone) is known by His word. Once the will of God is known, that will in question is accomplished by the grace that is available and comes by Him. The word of God has potential power to change any man from failure to success, from sinner to saint, from slavery to freedom, from bondage to salvation. To be well

THE DETRACTOR OF GOD'S KINGDOM

Image
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." Every kingdom has some way to maintain law and order. In some kingdoms, those who have taken lawlessness to the extreme are served with serious punishment. Orderliness is checked so that the kingdom can achieve a greater degree of success. The detractor(s) are brought to book by some form of enforcement. If not checked by law enforcement, disorderliness will reign in the kingdom. If checked, lawlessness is stopped and success can easily be attained. In God's kingdom, there is this lawless one who is bent on making disciples of as many as possible out of the faithful citizens of God's kingdom. The lawless one is called the devil. He will not stop until he has caused disorder and destroy the lives of many by ultim
